How we assess the evidence

We do not use a star score because we lack evidence to compress all risks into one number. We assess product clarity, execution, custody, resolution, cost, support, and regulatory eligibility.

Strengths and limits

The market provides continuous pricing and an early exit when liquidity exists. Execution can still differ from the expected price, resolution can be disputed, and wallet, transfer, and regulatory risks remain.

• May suit someone who understands order books and blockchain and can lose the full amount.
• Does not suit someone needing guaranteed liquidity or stable income.
• Does not suit someone who has not resolved legal or banking eligibility.

What did we actually verify?

We verified a public product, official documentation, contract pages, and named audit reports. This is platform documentation, not an independent audit performed by us.

An audit of a named contract or version does not guarantee account access, resolution outcomes, conversion services, solvency, or protection from loss. We also did not perform a funded UAE transaction or a withdrawal test to a UAE bank.

The UAE-specific conclusion

Polymarket did not appear by name on the public GCGRA licensee list on the check date. Product visibility, website access, or regulation of a separate US product therefore does not establish UAE approval.

Assess regulation, custody, liquidity, resolution, and total cost as separate tests. Combine spread, slippage, any enabled taker fee, network costs, conversion, and third-party provider charges.
